Marc B. Minor is an attorney with over 25 years in practice. He is Senior Counsel at Thompson Hine LLP law firm in its Corporate Transactions and Securities practice group. He is Founder and President of CJM Consulting Group, LLC advising clients in financial services compliance matters. Mr. Minor is also an Adjunct Professor at Seton Hall Law School, and founder of the Ohio Chapter of the National Association of Securities Professionals. He advises on Investment Management, Capital Formation, Brokerage, Adviser, Private Equity and Fund issues.

He previously served as Bureau Chief and Securities Administrator of both NY and NJ, worked in-house at FINRA, the New York Stock Exchange, and the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, and was a principal facilitator of President Obama’s RMBS Working Group. He has lectured, nationwide, on financial oversight, including before federal and state agencies, industry groups, and regulatory organizations.

Mr. Minor earned his Juris Doctorate from Howard University School of Law in Washington, DC, and holds both a B.S. in Journalism and a B.A. in Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland, College Park.
